On Monday, N. and A. went back to school after almost two weeks at home. Two weeks of cuddles, kisses, toys, candy, and for N., two weeks of nonstop bottles.
Of course, they don't get bottles at day care. We send milk in boxes, the kind you drink from a straw.
On Monday night, N. was crying in his sleep. He must have been dreaming. "I don't want the box! I want the bottle! No box!"
I will leave you to debate all the implications, freudian and otherwise, of N.'s dream.
