N. is a very clever little man. He seems to have understood that he will get a present if he sleeps through the night several times in a row. So for the past three nights, he has (thankfully) slept through the night.
Then he creeps into our bedroom at 6 a.m. (how does he know when it is exactly 6 a.m.? But he always does), climbs into bed, and announces "I slept through the night!".
Last night, climbing into his bed, he told me, "I will sleep through the night! Daddy be proud of me!". N., Daddy is proud of you. Mommy too. But why do I get the feeling we'll be bribing him for the next sixteen years?
